Exhibition at the Universidad de Navarra, Spain

Johan Celsing arkitektkontor will be presented in an exhibition at the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura
at the Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. The exhibition will take place in November 2014
in the series Arquitecturas de Autor. Other architects presented in the series earlier this year are;
Tadej Glazar (Slovenia), Gigon&Guyer (Switzerland) and Grafton Architects (Ireland).

A lecture by Johan Celsing will coincide with the exhibition. The date is still to be announced.

The New Crematorium at the Woodland Cemetery in Stockholm is one of the 15 nominated architectural projects for the Design of the Year 2014 at the Design Museum, London.
The exhibition of the nominees commences on March 26. 2014.

Public lecture at Universidad de Navarra

On March 21 at 12.15 pm Johan Celsing will give a public lecture at the Escuela Téchnica Superior de Arquitectura of the University of Navarra in Pamplona.
Gravitas et Clementia is the tentative theme of the lecture which will present recent works of Johan Celsing arkitektkontor.
The lecture coincides with the visiting professorship that Johan Celsing holds at the school during the Spring semester of 2014.

The Kasper Salin Prize 2013, The Helgo Prize 2013

At the annual event of the Swedish Association of Architects, JCA was
awarded the Kasper Salin Prize 2013 for The New Crematorium at The
Woodland Cemetery in Stockholm.

At the same ceremony JCA was awarded the Helgo Prize for Årsta Church
by the National Property Board for best restoration/addition.
